Most fragrance is chosen for you. Ours is built with you — by hand, from single notes, at a bar in Holly Hill. You sit down. We talk about what you wear and what you ride. You leave with something nobody else is wearing, because it did not exist until you sat down.

The experience

What happens at the bar

We build in front of you, from single notes — not from a fixed menu of finished bottles. Nothing is poured until you have smelled it on your own skin and told us to go. If it is not right, we change it. That is the whole idea, and it is why the same scent smells different on you than it does on the person next to you.

You do not need to know anything about fragrance to do this. You need to know what you like. We handle the rest. And if you would rather just sit with it for a while, there is a chair for that.

The process

How a scent gets built

Three steps, and only the first one needs anything from you. You do not need to know anything about fragrance. You need to know what you like.

  1. You sit down.

    We ask what you wear and what you ride. That is the brief, and it is the only homework there is.

  2. You smell it before it exists.

    We pull single notes and build it in front of you. Nothing is poured until it is on your skin and you have told us to go. If it is not right, we change it.

  3. It goes on the file.

    We bottle it and keep your formula, so the same scent can be made again — or refilled — without you having to remember what was in it. Want it again? Order it, or call ahead and come back in, and it is mixed for you without the wait.

Straight answers

What we do not claim

We would rather be trusted than impressive.

  • We do not claim our whole range is waterless or alcohol-free. Our oil formats contain no water and no alcohol. Where a format is alcohol-based, it is labelled as alcohol-based, and we will not blur that line to sound cleaner than we are.
  • We do not claim our fragrance is formulated for leather, or for any material. We make scent for people who ride, and we say that and nothing more.
  • We do not make therapeutic, medical or aphrodisiac claims. This is fragrance.
  • We do not promise a specific wear time. Skin chemistry, heat, and how you ride all change it.
  • We do not call anything clean, natural, vegan or clinical unless the specific formula in front of you is.

Try it on your skin before you commit to a bottle. Tell us about allergies and sensitivities before we blend — we need to know before it is in the bottle. And if you are pregnant or nursing, or buying for someone who is, ask us before you buy. That is a conversation we would rather have out loud.
